Weekend Nosh: July 15

Well, another awesome weekend has arrived. Here are some suggestions to make it better then it might have been. Also, I apologize for a lack of a nosh last weekend, being busy sucks!


Food: Wahoo's Fish Tacos - Don't let the name fool you, you don't have to get fish or tacos here. Their Hawaiian inspired food is always good, fresh and reasonably healthy. I would suggest the Kahlua pig bowl (carnitas with teriyaki sauce on rice) or a Banzai bowl with blackened fish (Vegetables and fish on rice).

 

Drink: Boddington's Pub Ale - This is a nice import you can find in most grocery stores now. It's in a big yellow can and is imported from Jolly Old England. It's light in color but heavy on flavor, and is packed with a nitro to give it a nice head when its poured into a pub glass. Crack one open and pour.

Movie: Dazed and Confused - A classic movie from the nineties about life in the 70's. The movie is a lot more then it seems on the surface, delving into such salient points such as Martha Washington rolling George Washington a Blunt when he came home... No, seriously, the point of the movie is really to show just how clueless highschool kids are and I think that is something everyone can relate to. Its a really well made movie, and kicked off the careers of some notable actors, including Ben Affleck and Milla Jovovich.
