40k has evolved. I have shipped out the battlewagon rush, as they nerfed the shit out of the way I played them. I still have a massive collection of Guard / Demons / Chaos Space Marines for playing, but the Orks are gone. (Well, I still have 20 shoota boys, 15 Lootas, 1 Warboss and a Dakkajet....lol). So the delving into the Iron Kingdom really begins.
So I have all the items I have traded for assembled and ready to play for the most part and I am ready to get busy learning how to really play Warmachine!
A list of my stuff and the lists I plan to practice with after the break!
So here is what I have:
Casters:
pScorcha
Zerkova
pVlad
pIrusk
eIrusk
Strakhov
Harkevich
Warjacks:
Behemoth
Black Ivan
Conquest
Destroyer
Devastator
Juggernaut
Kodiak
Spriggan
Torch
Solos:
Kovnik Joe (X2)
Man-O-War Drakhun (with dismount)
Units:
Great Bears of Gallowswood
Iron Fang Pikemen Max (X2)
Man-O-War Shocktroopers Min
Winter Guard Infantry Max (X2)
Winter Guard Mortar Crew (X2)
Attachments:
Black Dragon Officer and Standard
Iron Fang Officer and Standard
War Dog
Winter Guard Infantry Rocketeer (X3)
Winter Guard Officer and Standard (X2)
Obviously I have a few items I don't need.
So what I am debating is:
Going all in on pIrusk?
I am told he has a harder learning curve, but is a more solid caster later. He has the support spells to make my troopers / jacks last and is probably best for attrition games.
Here is my first take on a pIrusk list.
35 Point - Tier 2
pIrusk
Devastator
Spriggan
Max Iron Fang w/ UA
Max Iron Fang with Black Dragon UA
Man-O-War Drakhun without Dismount
Strong troops and a flexible Jacks. They will be able to move in at different times to take advantage of superiority while Iron Fangs hold down the fort.
For fast games
Points: 25/25
Kommandant Irusk
* Black Ivan
Great Bears of Gallowswood
Widowmakers
Winter Guard Infantry Max
* Winter Guard Infantry Officer & Standard
* 2 Winter Guard Infantry Rocketeers
Kovnik Jozef Grigorovich
Iron Fleshed Winter Guard, with support from Widowmakers, Superiority on Black Ivan and Battle Lusted Great Bears / Widow Makers seems solid.
I have played a few games already but I haven't really focused on a caster until now. I like pIrusk and I think I can make this work.
Let me know your thoughts!
FOR THE MOTHERLAND!

I think that commies are not as good as dragons.
