The Mother Land! Khador thoughts

40k has evolved. I have shipped out the battlewagon rush, as they nerfed the shit out of the way I played them. I still have a massive collection of Guard / Demons / Chaos Space Marines for playing, but the Orks are gone. (Well, I still have 20 shoota boys, 15 Lootas, 1 Warboss and a Dakkajet....lol). So the delving into the Iron Kingdom really begins.

So I have all the items I have traded for assembled and ready to play for the most part and I am ready to get busy learning how to really play Warmachine!

Obviously I have a few items I don't need.

So what I am debating is:

Going all in on pIrusk?

I am told he has a harder learning curve, but is a more solid caster later. He has the support spells to make my troopers / jacks last and is probably best for attrition games.

Here is my first take on a pIrusk list.

35 Point - Tier 2

Max Iron Fang w/ UA
Max Iron Fang with Black Dragon UA
Man-O-War Drakhun without Dismount

Strong troops and a flexible Jacks. They will be able to move in at different times to take advantage of superiority while Iron Fangs hold down the fort.

Iron Fleshed Winter Guard, with support from Widowmakers, Superiority on Black Ivan and Battle Lusted Great Bears / Widow Makers seems solid.

I have played a few games already but I haven't really focused on a caster until now. I like pIrusk and I think I can make this work.
